Question of the Day: Nov. 11, 2008

Because there was already a wildly popular Bulmers cider in Britain, the competing hard cider known as Bulmers in Ireland has a different name when exported beyond the Emerald Isle. What brand should you order at your local pub to get that authentic Irish cider?

Is this for a chance to win beer tonight, or just for fun?

If Kevin wants to award free beer for questions I’m asking, he hasn’t let me know about it.

I’m doing it for fun — or more precisely, because I decided I needed to be writing at least one question a day. My own 365 project. Hopefully they’ll improve from here.

Bulmers in the Republic of Ireland = Magners everywhere else in the world. Its the original over ice cider! Made from real apples!
