I’m James Callan, and I’m a slangoholic.

I’m so relieved to just come out and say it. I’m also a question setter, which is a British term for the person who writes a quiz — the person who sets the questions. I used it to name this site because I’m an elitist jackass with vaguely Anglophilic pretensions, and also because querist.com was unavailable.

I write trivia questions and host pub trivia some Tuesday nights at the Old Pequliar in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood.
On Questionsetter.com, I’ll post some of the quizzes I write and comment on other trivia-related stuff as I see fit.
